As Charter Members of the (ABKA), Delmyra Kennels - Country Club for Dogs & Cats acknowledges and willingly accepts the responsibility involved in the care of your beloved pets. As a part of that responsibility, we continue to maintain membership in ABKA and are committed to operate our kennel in accordance with the ABKA Bill of Rights for Boarded Pets.  We have professionally trained and certified staff who will cater to your pet's every need. Our certified owners and staff are committed to the ABKA Code of Ethical Conduct.

Double /Triple/Quad Kitty Condos

For your Cat: Your cat will get special treatment in the new kitty condos located in our separate cattery. Condos are double stacked and open wide for multiple pet from the same family. Fresh water is available 24 hours a day and soft soothing music is in the background throughout kitty condo to make your cat's stay seem like home. A daily report is kept on each pet monitoring your cat's health, activity, attitude, food intake, medication administered, and waste. Runs are climate controlled year round.

Kitty Play Time is a treat to watch as your pet climbs and plays with a gentle staff member.

For your Dog: Our spacious, private indoor/outdoor runs have soft bedding changed daily (or as needed) and provide ample room for exercise. Runs are double gated to separate pets while the runs are being cleaned. Fresh water is available 24 hours a day and soothing music is softly playing in the background of the kennel to make your dog's stay seem like home. A daily report is kept on each pet monitoring your dog's health, activity, attitude, food intake, medication administered, and waste. Runs are climate controlled year round.



Spacious In/Out Pet Suites
OUR PLEDGE TO YOUR PET:
  • We will care for all boarded pets with kindness and will place their welfare above all other business considerations.
  • We will provide Security and Safety for all boarded pets by means of proper kennel design, good animal handling procedures, adequate separation between animals, and by keeping all pet boarding areas free of potential hazards.
  • We will maintain a sanitary environment for all boarded pets.
  • We will provide vigilant supervision of all boarded pets by competent, conscientious personnel and will respond appropriately to any sign of distress or emergency.
  • We will provide individual water containers and clean water each boarded pet.
  • We will provide an adequate and proper diet to each boarded pet.
  • We will seek veterinary assistance whenever appropriate, the choice of veterinarian to be governed by kennel policy, as explained during check-in.
  • We will require proper immunizations for all boarders, as specified in our pre-entry procedures.
  • We will administer owner-provided or veterinary-prescribed medication in accordance with instructions.
  • We will take appropriate measures to control parasites within the kennel environment.
  • We will maintain temperatures within healthful limits, and will take appropriate precautions to protect animals which have special temperature requirements.
  • We will provide protection from the elements and from excessive exposure to the sun to all boarded pets.
  • We will provide adequate ventilation to minimize possible exposure to harmful bacteria or viruses.
  • We will provide comfortable levels of light in all boarding areas.
  • We will provide individual sleeping areas which are large enough to accommodate normal postural movements.
  • We will provide adequate exercise opportunities in areas which are safe, secure, clean and large enough for each boarded pet to exercise properly.
